Had dinner at Char Barossa during our weekend away in the Barossa. The food was spectacular, and they are very accommodating to dietary requirements. We ordered the shared platter for 2, which was absolutely delicious and they accommodated me as I am vegetarian. Although the restaurant got very busy, the service was still of a very high-level. All staff were warm and friendly.

Fabulous fine dining experience, delivered with care and passion for local and Australian produce. Also very relaxed at the same time, making the whole evening feel special but easy & chill. Excellent wines, as you’d expect from a great restaurant in the Barossa Valley.

Fantastic food and excellent service from the young team front of house. A good selection of wines, not too much or too little. Haven't been disappointed here yet and don't expect to be.

First time having Dinner at Char Barossa in Tanunda. We had a few questions about some dishes before ordering & the waitress came across as a very professional & very well informed on the menu. Staff were all was very friendly. Also a really pleasant romantic atmosphere here. Great for a date night with your partner.

Delish!! We ordered cocktails, arancini, haloumi, churrasco platter and the cheese plate. With Char’s very own barossa shiraz. Couldn’t fault any of it!

Had birthday lunch here and ordered the char platter absolutely delicious 😋 and it left just enough room for dessert which was first class 😋 wine choice is great

What a place to treat ourselves with a hearty perfectly delivered meal! We love everything we’ve ordered and the ingredients are all fresh and our favourites are smoked duck breast and the desert. I am pretty amazed that the pork chop was well-seasoning without any unpleasant smell or taste and everyone knows that if not well-cooked, pork here in Australia would have quite an unpleasant taste. I highly recommend this restaurant! Oh, staff are also very friendly, service attentive and good.
